Yearly plans get a reminder email a month ahead; cancel any time before the renewal date and you pay nothing more. Prices per user, excluding VAT. VAT is calculated automatically at checkout based on your country; EU businesses outside the Netherlands with a valid VAT ID are reverse-charged. Billed per user, not per device. Your user count is the higher of two numbers: the people who need protection on their devices, or the mailboxes on your domain (email security protects your whole domain, so every mailbox on it is covered). Aliases, forwarding addresses and distribution lists are free and never counted. Pay online; you confirm your team size at checkout and receive a proper invoice for your records. Yearly plans renew every 12 months; we email you a month before each renewal, and you can cancel any time up to the renewal date. Monthly plans renew each month and can be cancelled any time, effective at the end of the paid month. Cancellations run to the end of the paid period; there are no partial refunds. Email security and cloud backup require a business domain on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365; your own servers are a separate add-on.

What happens right after I pay?
Within one business day you receive a personal onboarding email from Aegix. We set up your protection environment, prepare your email security, and ask for the names and email addresses of your team members. Each of them then gets a personal setup link. For the steps inside your own accounts, you create a temporary admin account for us, never your own login: we set up, verify, and confirm, then you delete that account or rotate the password and we are out. Prefer to do those steps yourself or on a guided remote session? Also fine, just say so in your reply. Most teams are fully protected within a few days, without a single meeting.
What does a breach actually cost?
Forget the headline numbers from big-company reports. For a founder, the real costs are the days or weeks you cannot work while systems are rebuilt, the ransom if backups are gone too, the client trust that does not come back, and reported email-fraud losses averaging tens of thousands of euros per incident. A year of Protect for a whole team costs a fraction of any one of those. That is the entire business case.
How is my number of users counted?
You are billed per user, not per device. Your count is the higher of two numbers: people who need protection on their computers, or mailboxes on your domain, because email security covers your entire domain. Aliases, forwarding addresses and distribution lists are free and never counted. Not sure? Pick your best guess at checkout; we verify together during onboarding and settle any difference fairly.
Do I need to install anything?
One lightweight protection agent per computer, installed from your personal setup link in a few minutes. It runs quietly in the background. No servers, no hardware, nothing for you to maintain.
Which devices are covered?
Mac and Windows laptops and desktops are fully covered. One detail on Protect Plus: full device encryption needs Windows 10 or 11 Pro (or higher) on the Windows side, since Windows Home does not support managed encryption; every Mac is fine. Your own servers are a separate add-on, and anything unusual, like Linux workstations, is worth mentioning in your onboarding reply: we will tell you honestly what fits Protect and what needs a bigger plan.
Is this just antivirus?
No. Antivirus waits for known bad files. Protect watches for unusual behavior on your devices and in your email, and behind it sits a real security operations team that investigates and responds 24/7, including isolating a machine at 3 AM if something is genuinely wrong. Average threat response across our operations: 38 minutes. That response layer is the part you cannot buy in a box.
I don't have a business domain, just a free mailbox. Can I still join?
Endpoint protection and the password manager work on any setup, but email security and cloud backup need a business domain on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. If you are still on a free mailbox, we can help you make that move during onboarding. It is one of the best security upgrades a business can make.
Will the email switch-over break my mail?
No. The change is prepared in advance and we make it for you, using temporary access you can revoke the moment we are done. We test before and after, your mail keeps flowing during the change, and your inbox and mail app stay exactly the same. Done once, and you barely notice it happened.
Can I pay monthly instead of yearly?
Yes, and it costs nothing extra to start: onboarding and email authentication setup are included on both. Monthly is €49 (Core) or €69 (Plus) per user, and you can cancel any time, effective at the end of the billing month. Yearly gives you twelve months for the price of ten, plus the annual extras: quarterly exposure scans and the AI Hardening Kit. Pick whichever fits your cash flow; you can always switch to yearly later.
What if my team grows during the year?
Just tell us. We add the new person at the same rate you are on: prorated for the rest of your year on a yearly plan, or simply added from the next month on a monthly plan. They get their setup link the same day. If you grow past ten people, we will talk about moving you to a plan that fits.
Can I cancel? Does it auto-renew?
Your plan renews automatically, so your protection never lapses. Yearly plans renew every 12 months with no surprises: we email you a month before the renewal date, and cancelling before that date costs nothing. Monthly plans renew each month; cancel whenever you like and your protection runs to the end of the paid month. There are no partial refunds mid-period, but if we cannot get you set up and working in the first place, you get a full refund.
